FIELD: mining, methods of mining of coal seams. SUBSTANCE: method includes driving of development workings and mounting in coal seam of stoping equipment; drilling of holes at seam roof uniformly over entire length of breakage face to side of pillar anticipated extraction; location in each hole of supporting beam whose caving end in face space is propped to roof by hydraulic prop provided with guard. Coal is mined by stripper under supporting beams. In so doing, provided in each cycle of stoping operations is deepening of holes and advancing in them of beams. Periodically, as breakage face advances, direction of hole drilling is controlled by position of supporting beam caving part in face space, and correction is made, if need be. EFFECT: higher efficiency of mining due to use of coal mass as bearing support of breakage face space. 2 dwg
