METHOD FOR DETECTING A MARINE NOISY TARGET BY AN AUTONOMOUS HYDROACOUSTIC STATION Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC G01S3/80 G01S15/00

Abstract RU 2768419 C1

FIELD: hydroacoustics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of hydroacoustics, namely to autonomous hydroacoustic stations (AHAS), and can be used to detect, classify and determine the coordinates and motion parameters of noisy marine objects (targets) in various areas of the oceans. A method for detecting a noisy marine AHAS target is proposed, including the construction of trajectories from the detected signals, the division of trajectories into signal and interference, determining the class, coordinates and motion parameters of the source of each signal trajectory, at the same time, in order to decide whether the trajectory belongs to the signal or interference trajectory, a two-threshold procedure is additionally applied, according to which the trajectory is assigned to the signal trajectory after at least k detections of signals in n successive detections, and the trajectory is assigned to the interference trajectory after the signals are not detected in m=n-k+1 consecutive detections. When deciding on the interference trajectory, the AHAS is transferred from the detection mode to the standby mode, which has minimal power consumption, and the transfer from the standby mode to the detection mode is carried out after a period of time equal to the estimated time the low-noise target is in the AHAS detection zone minus the time spent on at least one sequence of n detections.

EFFECT: reduction of energy consumption during the operation of AHAS, providing an increase in the duration of its autonomous operation.
