FIELD: medicine; medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: portable peripheral control device for a training machine for simulating an endoscopic procedure contains: a mounting element; a control lever attached to the mounting element and reproducing a handle of a flexible endoscope for medical use, while the control lever has a group of drive mechanisms made with the possibility of copying corresponding drive mechanisms contained on the handle of the flexible endoscope for medical use, a motion device made with the possibility of simulating the motion of a tubular element of the flexible endoscope; a peripheral control device made with the possibility of converting at least one actuation of the control lever into an electrical signal “s1” meaning the actuation, a peripheral control device made with the possibility of converting at least one activation of the drive mechanism into an electrical signal “s2” meaning the activation, a peripheral control device made with the possibility of converting the motion of the motion device into an electrical signal “s3” meaning the motion, a peripheral control device containing at least one output for electrical signals “s1”, “s2”, “s3”. In this case, the motion device contains a bearing case and a main element connected to the bearing case; at the same time, the motion device includes a gripping surface, by means of which the motion of the tubular element of the flexible endoscope is simulated; moreover, the gripping surface is a part of the main element or is made with the possibility of movement relatively to the main element. The training machine for endoscopy contains a portable peripheral control device and a computer made with the possibility of simultaneous processing of electrical signals “s1”, “s2”, “s3” generated by the control lever and the motion device and simulating the operation of the endoscope.

EFFECT: use of this group of inventions will allow students to perform exercises with the simulation of endoscopic procedures in any conditions, even in household ones, at least for the acquisition of basic skills; in addition, the device is easily portable as it has reduced dimensions and weight.
