FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a substantially cylindrical metal container with a UHF RFID tag. Cylindrical metal container (1) comprises side surface wall (2), upper end and lower end (3), wherein bottom end has recess formed by circular concave, parabolic bottom surface (4) and circular surrounding edge (5). UHF RFID tag (6), comprising integrated circuit (7) and antenna (8), is located at the lower end, wherein the antenna is located at a predetermined distance above the centre of lower surface (4), so that the lower surface reflects the radiation of the antenna.
EFFECT: enabling use of UHF RFID tags in cans for drinks, as well as increasing the antenna reading range.
