FIELD: smoking accessories.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a smoking article and to a method for controlling a tightening aerosol delivery in a smoking article during puffs, which includes producing a smoking article. Smoking article comprises a dead combustible heat source, in which there are no longitudinal air-jet channels in the heat source, so that air drawn through the smoking article during use does not pass through any air-jet channels along the heat source. Smoking article also comprises an aerosol-forming substrate located downstream of the heat source, an airflow directing element, located downstream of the aerosol-forming substrate, and at least one air inlet between the rear end of the aerosol-forming substrate and the rear end of the airflow directing element. Smoking article further comprises a first heat-conducting element around and in contact with the rear part of the heat source and the adjacent front part of the aerosol-forming substrate and a second heat-conducting element around at least a portion of the first heat-conducting element. At least part of the second heat-conducting element is radially separated from the first heat-conducting element.

EFFECT: improved control of conductive heating of aerosol-forming substrate to facilitate maintenance of temperature of aerosol-forming substrate during smoking.
