FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to boring machines intended for machining the hub bore of solid-rolled railway wheels during the formation and repair of wheel sets of rolling stock of railways. Machine comprises a box-shaped bed, in the center of which there are guides, a slider fixed on the guides, a spindle, as well as a device for fixing the processed wheel, consisting of an end clamping mechanism made in the form of three plungers, and a centering device consisting of a ring with three wedges fixed on it, located from each other at angle of 120°, as well as three centering cams, three clamping and deflecting rollers.
EFFECT: increase in the convenience of basing and the reliability of fixing the processed wheel in the clamping device and, as a result, an increase in the accuracy of processing.
