FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biochemistry, in particular, to a method for inducing a non-specific protective response of potatoes. Also disclosed is a composition for implementation of said method, containing a polymer polyadenyl:polyuridylic acid.
EFFECT: invention provides a possibility of effectively inducing a non-specific immune response in a plant upon contact with the composition containing stimulating polymer dsRNA.
