FIELD: physical processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a reactor for activating a micro- and mesoporous carbon material, placed in a furnace and consisting of a cylindrical body and a fixed cover, whereon the axis of a mixer is rigidly fixed, branch pipes for supplying inert gas, steam, or water and exhausting gaseous products are installed on top, a gas gateway branch pipe is installed at the end. The body of the reactor is configured to rotate relative to its axis, wherein the rotation speed can be adjusted, the inert gas supply branch pipe located inside the body has a spiral shape and a height of 50 to 70% of the height of the body of the reactor. An evaporator splitter in the form of an annular chute is installed on the inner surface of the cover.
EFFECT: structural simplification, possibility of scaling, increase in the reliability, safety and quality of the resulting product.
