FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of carbon materials with developed surface and porosity. Disclosed is a reactor for chemical activation of carbon material, having a chemical activation chamber, which can be of square, rectangular, triangular or cylindrical shape. Tray for the activated material can be square, rectangular, triangular – with rounded corners or cylindrical, the bottom of the tray for the activated material is made clinched. Gas collector with tubes is attached to the inert gas supply branch pipe into the chemical activation chamber. Reaction gas mixture discharge branch pipe is equipped with an adjustable gas valve installed outside the cover, as well as an expansion chamber with the possibility of supplying inert gas to it.
EFFECT: higher quality of product and efficiency of technology due to intensification of processes, higher safety and reduced power consumption of the process.
