FIELD: reactors.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reactors for synthesising an activated carbon material. Described is a reactor for synthesising an activated carbon material, placed in a furnace, consisting of a cylindrical vessel and a flanged cover with a gas lock, an inert gas inlet branch pipe, a water vapour inlet branch pipe, and a gaseous reaction product outlet branch pipe; the reactor vessel is capable of rotating axially; the vessel can change the angle of inclination in the range from 0 to 35°; screw-shaped longitudinal coils located from the back wall of the reactor to 2/3 of the length thereof with transverse blades installed thereof are provided in the vessel, wherein the height of the coils from the back wall to the edge of the reactor gradually decreases by half and equals at least 1/10 of the diameter of the reactor; transverse blades are located on the coils, equal to the coil in height and thickness, at a step equal to the width of two coils; and the inert gas and water vapour supply branch pipes are made perforated, with the length equal to 2/3 of the length of the cylindrical vessel, wherein the inert gas supply branch pipe is located below the water vapour supply branch pipe at a distance of 1/4 of the diameter of the reactor.
EFFECT: structural simplification of the reactor, increase in the reliability of the structure, safety and quality of the end product.
