FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: after making longitudinal laser incisions in a pre-equatorial area of the anterior capsule of the crystalline lens, radial incisions are made in oblique meridians. The incisions are connected to the radial incision with or without a gap.
EFFECT: prevented unpredictable rupture of the capsular sac with IOL displacement accompanying the exposure, and avoided spontaneously increased radial incisions of the crystalline lens capsule after the operation with eliminating the progressive capsular sac contraction and creating a stable, random-shaped, optical hole in the anterior capsule.
