SUBSTANCE: absorbing product is described in the claim, containing a liquid-permeable upper layer, a liquid-impermeable outer layer, and an absorbing medium layer containing absorbing material between an upper sheet wrapping the medium layer and a lower sheet wrapping the medium layer. The absorbing medium layer is located between the upper layer and the outer layer. The absorbing medium layer has the first and the second longitudinal edges, a front edge and a rear edge. In this case, the absorbing medium layer is provided with several connecting zones, in which the upper sheet wrapping the medium layer is connected to the lower sheet wrapping the medium layer, and in which there is essentially no absorbing material. When viewing in the longitudinal direction of the absorbing medium layer, when viewing from the front edge to the rear edge, the absorbing medium layer contains sequentially the first, the second, the third, the fourth and the fifth zones.
