FIELD: tobacco industry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the tobacco industry, namely to an aerosol generating device and system. The aerosol generating device contains a case having a chamber with dimensions that make it possible to accommodate at least part of an aerosol generating product. The aerosol generating device contains an induction coil located around at least part of the chamber. The aerosol generating device contains a set of elongated elements in the form of a current collector protruding into the chamber and spaced apart from each other, while each of the set of elongated elements in the form of a current collector runs essentially parallel to the magnetic axis of the induction coil. The aerosol generating device contains a power supply unit and a controller connected to the induction coil and made with the possibility of supplying alternating electric current to the induction coil in such a way that, when used, the induction coil generates an alternating magnetic field to heat the set of elongated elements in the form of a current collector and, thus, heat at least part of the aerosol generating product placed in the chamber. The induction coil is spiral and has a non-circular cross-sectional shape. An aerosol generating system including an aerosol generating device is also disclosed.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of heating elements in the form of current collectors and ensuring their uniform heating.
