SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an aerosol-generating apparatus and an aerosol-generating system. An aerosol-generating apparatus containing a body forming a chamber for accommodating at least part of the aerosol-generating product and an induction coil arranged located around at least part of the chamber. The aerosol-generating apparatus also comprises an elongated element in the form of a current collector, configured to be removably attached to the body inside the chamber, wherein the elongated element in the form of a current collector protrudes into the chamber when the elongated element in the form of a current collector is removably attached to the body. The aerosol-generating apparatus also comprises a power supply unit and a controller, connected with an induction coil. The power supply unit and controller are configured to supply an alternating electric current to the induction coil so that during use the induction coil generates an alternating magnetic field to heat an elongated element in the form of a current collector, and thereby heat at least part of the aerosol-generating product placed inside the chamber.

EFFECT: possibility of facilitating cleaning and replacement of the current-collecting element is provided.
