SUBSTANCE: according to the present invention, a device for checking the stress gradient under load and a method for accurately determining the energy (or power) of the load related to the field of testing the mechanical properties of rocks are proposed. The device includes an upper pressure plate, a sample retainer, a voltage transmitter and a simulation sample. The simulation sample is placed between the lateral reflective partitions of the retainer; the voltage transmitter is pressed against the upper surface of the simulation sample, and the upper pressure plate is pressed against the transmitter from above. Stress and strain monitoring data are processed by a computer. The voltage transmitter includes a combination of several high-strength plate materials. In the simulation sample, a simulation strike is performed and a strain gauge and a voltage sensor are placed on the sample. When testing using this device, the stress gradient is provided by high-strength plate materials of different stiffness in the stress transmitter, and during the test, the elastic deformation power is measured, as well as the load power reported to the simulation sample, in combination with the power reported by the tester.
EFFECT: inventions are proposed for implementing a stress gradient under load and determining the load energy (or load power) acting on a sample for real-time simulation in order to obtain the destruction power of this sample.
