FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgical industrial plants. Equipment has a three-dimensional identification mark (10), in particular a perforated plate or a plate provided with three-dimensional patterns. Receiving device (1) is a Time of Flight (TOF) camera having a Photonic Mixing Device (PMD) sensor, which detects equipment (13) having a three-dimensional identification mark (10), and analytical processing unit (2) identifies equipment by registered three-dimensional identification mark (10).
EFFECT: invention provides reliable identification of equipment in a metallurgical industrial plant, which is insensitive to harsh environmental conditions.
