FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering; it can be used for the accumulation and production of electricity, as well as in the recycling of waste containing organic matter. The invention is an underground storage of an air accumulating unit using fuel and including a compressor for supplying compressed air, a heat accumulator, a turbo expander and a generator containing separate lines for compressed air supply and discharge. In order to use the storage as a reactor for supercritical aqueous oxidation of any waste containing organic matter, the storage is additionally equipped with a water supply line containing organic substances and a line for removing excess moisture and solid oxidation products. In this case, the line for compressed air supply is carried out with the possibility of bubbling air through water containing organic substances, with the accompanying transfer of compressed air heat to this water and the creation of a zone of supercritical aqueous oxidation.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to dispose of a wide range of liquid and solid organic waste by using a complete oxidation reaction in an environment of supercritical water saturated with oxygen in the air; and to localize the process of waste incineration and obtaining additional heat in time by controlling the temperature of compressed air supplied to the storage and the accumulated pressure in the storage.
