SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of communication, more specifically, to a system for ensuring convergence of a fifth generation (5G) communication system to support higher speeds of data transmission beyond the fourth generation (4G) system using a technology for the Internet of Things (IoT). To realise the technical result, the method includes the stages of receiving a random access response (RAR) including a first information about the type of channel access procedure for transmitting the random access procedure Msg3; executing the channel access procedure based on the first information; and transmitting the random access procedure Msg3 based on the result of the channel access procedure.
EFFECT: ensured development of an Msg3 transmission procedure in an unlicensed frequency band in a 5G wireless communication system.
