FIELD: welding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for the manufacture of granular powders, namely welding fused fluxes used for automatic submerged arc welding. As a raw material, a charge of mineral raw materials of a single-component or multi-component composition with a fraction of up to 0.5 mm is used. The plant is equipped with a chamber for granulation, a plasma torch designed to create a plasma arc, and an inclined box for cooling and supplying granules and charge to the screening zone. The granulation chamber is located under the batch hopper. A nozzle for controlling the charge flow and a non-consumable conductive electrode are located inside the granulation chamber. The plasma torch is fixed on the granulation chamber, and the inclined box for cooling and supplying granules and charge to the sifting zone is located between the granulation chamber and the shaker for sieving.
EFFECT: improving the manufacturability and productivity of the process of granulation of the fused welding flux.
