FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to oncology and oncohematology, and can be used to predict death from pneumonia in patients with lymphoproliferative diseases after high-dose polychemotherapy with transplantation of autologous hematopoietic stem cells. The method includes determining the risk factors for death with a score: a decrease in diastolic blood pressure below 70 mm Hg. - 2 points, day of onset of pneumonia in the post-transplant period up to day 7 inclusive - 3 points, CRP level>90 mm/h - 4 points, infiltrative pattern on chest CT - 6 points. With a score of 0 to 11, a low risk of an unfavorable outcome of pneumonia is predicted, with a score of 11 or more - a lethal outcome.
EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to determine the risk factors for death from pneumonia and to predict a lethal outcome on a score scale of risk factors, to take timely effective measures to reduce this risk.
