FIELD: wireless communication.

SUBSTANCE: in order to achieve the technical result, the receiver receives a wireless packet including a received short training field (STF) and a received channel evaluation field (CEF). The receiver determines whether the received STF corresponds to the assigned STF assigned to the target communication link by executing a cross-correlation between the STF and a sequence component from a set of at least four different sequence components constituting pairs of Golay sequences. The output of cross-correlation is compared with the expected output. When the received STF corresponds to the assigned STF, the wireless packet is considered the target packet. The channel is estimated using cross-correlation of the received CEF with the assigned CEF assigned to the target communication link. The assigned CEF is a field from a set of two or more CEFs, wherein each CEF is formed using a set of sequence components, and the CEFs are paired in a sequence in the zero correlation zone (ZCZ).

EFFECT: reduction in the cochannel interference between communication lines jointly using the same length and the same spectrum.
