SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to technical means of rehabilitation, namely, self-service means, and can be used as a device that facilitates putting on a compression stocking, golf stocking, sock, tights, as well as other compression bandages on other parts of the body. The device for putting on a compression stocking contains an applicator-expander consisting of two racks for putting on a compression stocking, each of which is connected to its corresponding handle, while the racks are made with the possibility of moving them from a reduced position to an extended position, and also contains a guide on which a base with two detachable parts is installed, movable and fixed, on which racks and handles are installed, in this case, the device also contains a mechanism for ensuring the movement of the movable part of the base along the guide when the first handle is exposed to it, which is connected to the first handle and the movable part of the base, and has a lock that is designed to ensure the fixation of each extended position of the applicator-expander racks on the guide with the free return of the handle deviation to its original position.
