SUBSTANCE: object 1 is a duck enteritis virus (hereinafter – DEV) intended for the expression of foreign nucleic acid or protein in the poultry, which contains inactive genes US4 and US5 and contains foreign nucleic acid, where genes US4 and US5 are independently mutated, deleted or interrupted, and where foreign nucleic acid encodes protein VP2 of infectious bursal disease virus (hereinafter – IBDV) and is present in a viral genome. Object 2 is a nucleic acid molecule for the DEV production. Object 3 is a host cell for the DEV production and replication. Object 4 is a method for the DEV production or replication, including infection of competent cells with a nucleic acid molecule or DEV virus, and DEV extraction.

EFFECT: suitability of viral constructions, according to the invention, for the expression of gene and VP2 IBDV protein in the poultry.
