SUBSTANCE: proposed group of inventions relates to biotechnology. Disclosed is a recombinant avian herpes virus (rHVT), a multivalent vaccine containing same, a kit containing a vaccine for vaccinating birds, as well as the use of a recombinant avian herpes virus of turkeys to manufacture a vaccine composition for immunising birds. Said recombinant avian herpes virus comprises at least two recombinant nucleotide sequences, encoding distinct antigenic peptides and inserted into distinct non-coding regions of the viral genome selected from regions located between UL44 and UL45, between UL45 and UL46, between US10 and SORF3, and between SORF3 and US2.

EFFECT: proposed recombinant virus, vaccine and kit provide effective protection of vaccinated birds and can be used in veterinary medicine to vaccinate birds against avian pathogens.
