FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agricultural engineering. Tying mechanism comprises apparatuses for pulling and gripping the tape, a support mechanism (6), a clip storage case (7), a cassette (8) for storage of PVC tape (9) and niches for passage thereof. The frame (1) of the trimmer is equipped with a casing (2) covering the shaft (3) with plant mass dividers (10) secured thereon, placed whereon is a clamp (4) with a servo drive (5) configured for adjusting its position. The shaft of the servo drive is coupled with a rod (11), located at the end whereof is a gripping apparatus (12) facing the support mechanism (6).
EFFECT: automation of the process of tying plants, increase in the reliability of the technological process, eliminated failures in the process of tying bundles, increase in the operating efficiency, and reduction in the time of the operation.
