SURGICAL NODE, SYSTEM AND ELECTRODE NODE Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A61B18/14 B03C3/02 B03C3/41 B03C3/68

Abstract RU 2771423 C2

FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, namely to a surgical node and a system made with the possibility of removal of particles being in a weighted state on a section of surgical intervention in dissection or cauterization of patient’s tissue. The surgical node contains a surgical instrument, an electrode, an electrical generator, a controller. The surgical instrument is made with the possibility of reception of the first signal for use in dissection or cauterization of patient’s tissue during a surgical procedure. The electrode is located on this instrument. The electrical generator is designed to generate the second signal for use in the generation of an electrical field by the electrode, proximally to the section of the surgical procedure for removal of particles, being in a weighted state proximally to the section of surgical intervention. The generator is made connecting to the electrode with the possibility of data transmission. The controller is designed to control the supply of the second signal to the electrode. The node additionally contains a detection scheme for detection of a status of the first signal activation. The detection scheme is made connecting to the controller with the possibility of data transmission and is made with the possibility of issuing a detection signal to the controller, depending on the status of the first signal activation. The controller is made with the possibility of supply of the second signal to the electrode, when receiving the detection signal indicating the first signal activation. The surgical system contains a surgical instrument, a surgical generator, an electrical generator, a controller. The surgical generator is made connecting to the surgical instrument with the possibility of data transmission and is designed to generate the first signal for use in dissection or cauterization of patient’s tissue during a surgical procedure.

EFFECT: surgical node and system for dissection and cauterization of tissue is provided, while providing the possibility of elimination of particles of aerosol substance.
