ELECTROSURGICAL ENERGY GENERATOR FOR ELECTROPULSE OPENING OF CELLULAR PORES Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A61B18/12 A61B18/18 A61N1/32

Abstract RU 2777944 C2

FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to an electrosurgical energy generator for electropulse opening of cellular pores. The electrosurgical generator contains a unit for electromagnetic signal supply, an output port, a supplying structure, and a unit for electroporation wave signal supply. The unit for electromagnetic signal supply is designed to generate radio frequency and/or microwave energy. The output port is designed to be connected to a coaxial transmission line for transmitting RF and/or microwave energy to a probe for delivering radio frequency and/or microwave energy from its distal end. The supplying structure is designed to transmit radio frequency and/or microwave energy to the output port. The unit for electroporation wave signal supply is designed to generate energy with an electroporation wave signal to cause reversible or irreversible electropulse opening of cellular pores in biological tissues. The unit for electroporation wave signal supply contains a DC power supply source, a pulse generator. The DC power supply source is independent of the unit for electromagnetic signal supply for generating radio frequency and/or microwave energy. The pulse generator is connected to the DC power supply source and is made with the possibility of issuing one or more pulses of DC electricity in the form of an electroporation wave signal. The unit for electroporation wave signal supply is connected to the supplying structure for transmitting the electroporation wave signal to the output port for delivering to the probe. The supplying structure contains a common signal path for transmitting the electroporation wave signal and radio frequency and/or microwave energy to the output port.

EFFECT: electrosurgical energy generator is provided for electropulse opening of cellular pores with multiple possible modes of energy supply to an instrument, using a common supplying structure.
