FIELD: microrobotics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microrobotics, namely to mobile microrobots, and is intended for carrying out inspection work on solar batteries of spacecraft and/or the International Space Station, in extreme situations, mainly to minimize human risks in outer space. The crawling space microrobot-inspector contains a carrier platform with a placed service and target load and propulsors-microactuators rigidly fixed by tails symmetrically in a row on one surface from opposite sides of the carrier platform at an angle α, ranging from 90 to 180 degrees inclusive, to the direction of movement. Free shanks are located outside the dimensions of the carrier platform. Microactuator propulsors have an arcuate shape with a bulge from the moving surface and are equipped with grippers on loose shanks.
EFFECT: invention provides expansion of functionality due to precise positioning when inspecting surfaces, increased life cycle, improved manufacturability.
