FIELD: communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optical communication technology; it can be used in optical separators. The optical separator includes a case, in which there are uniform and non-uniform optical splitters with an optical input and several optical outputs with fiber-optic adapters located on them. The optical input, the uniform optical splitter, the non-uniform optical splitter, and optical outputs are connected in such a way that optical paths are formed between the optical input and optical outputs. The optical input is connected to an input optical pole of the uniform and/or non-uniform optical splitter. The optical splitter can be used in conjunction with an optical cable that has a fiber optic connector at the end.
EFFECT: efficient use of optical signal resources due to increasing the efficiency of implementation of the optical separator.
