FIELD: radio equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna equipment and is used in manufacturing "antenna-radome" direction-finding systems. The technical result is achieved due the fact that the "antenna-radome" direction-finding system containing a radiotransparent radome, a direction-finding antenna, and a dielectric compensating element located in the inner cavity of the nose of the radome, is characterised by the fact that the compensating element is installed perpendicular to the direction-finding plane and is shaped as a plate, the side surface whereof is articulated with the inner nose surface of the radome, wherein the relative thickness and length of the plate are calculated according to the respective formulas: wherein: d is the geometric thickness of the plate; is the wavelength at the higher frequency f of the used long-wave range; c is the speed of light; ε is the dielectric permittivity of the plate, wherein: h is the geometric length of the plate; H rad is the length of the radome from the vertex to the antenna plane.
EFFECT: reduction in the amount of direction-finding errors of the "antenna-radome" system for a thin-walled radome in a broad low frequency range.
