SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely dentistry; it can be used for the treatment of chronic aphthous stomatitis. A method for the treatment of chronic aphthous stomatitis includes the use of an antiseptic solution based on 0.1 wt. % of polyaminopropyl biguanide, heated to a temperature of 28-30°C, in the form of oral baths after each meal for 3 minutes at least 3 times a day for 1 month, followed by the continuation of the procedure for 1 minute in the morning and evening for 5 months. The method also includes vitamin therapy: taking vitamin C in a dosage for children under 18 years old – 250 mg once a day for 1 month, over 18 years old – 500 mg once a day for 1 month, and taking vitamin D3 in a dosage for children under 18 years old – 1000 IU once every two days for 6 months, older than 18 years old – 5000 IU once every two days for 6 months.

EFFECT: use of the invention provides an increase in the efficiency of the treatment of chronic aphthous stomatitis due to the use of an antiseptic solution that does not irritate the affected mucous membrane of the oral cavity, and the restorative effect of vitamins C and D3, simplification of the treatment procedure, shortening the healing period.
