METHOD FOR EXCIMER LASER CORRECTION OF MYOPIA Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A61F9/08

Abstract RU 2772355 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely ophthalmology. The corneal valve is formed on a femtosecond laser installation with the following parameters: the valve thickness is 100 microns, the valve diameter is 9.0 mm, the incision angle of the valve edge is 70 degrees, the location of the valve leg at twelve o’clock, the rise of the corneal valve, laser ablation of the corneal stroma and reposition of the corneal valve. Laser ablation “paraboloid-minus-paraboloid” is performed, for which the following parameters are determined: the diameter of the optical zone, the diameter of the transition zone, the depth of ablation, the thickness of the residual stroma, the duration of laser ablation, and the depth of ablation at the point of the cornea is calculated by the formula.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of the intervention, reduce the consumption of corneal tissue without changing the diameter of the optical zone and the quality of the formed surface.
