FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. For correction of induced ametropia following through keratoplasty, cornea flap is formed by FLEx technology with diameter from 6.0 to 6.8 mm depending on initial diameter of graft. Changes are made at the stage of corneal valve formation, the valve diameter is reduced by 0.2–0.3 mm from the transplant diameter. Thickness of 120 mcm is set. Further, the corneal excimer laser ablation is performed according to the calculated parameters. Results of the preoperative and postoperative examination are compared with 1-day, 1-month and 3-month rate to assess changes in corneal parameters and visual functions.
EFFECT: method enables achieving high functional results of correction of induced ametropia following through keratoplasty, as well as allows performing additional correction of refractive disorders with minimal traumatisation of cornea.
