SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to the pharmaceutical industry, namely to a pharmaceutical composition for treating fever or relieving pain, a container for storing the composition, and methods for treating fever or relieving pain using the claimed composition. The pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of fever or pain relief contains: acetaminophen; and a sulfoalkyl ether of cyclodextrin, where the sulfoalkyl ether of cyclodextrin is a compound or a mixture of them of a certain chemical structure and composition, and the components in the pharmaceutical composition are taken in a certain amount and ratio to each other. A sterile disposable container for storing the formulation is provided. A method for reducing or treating fever in a subject in need thereof comprises administering by injection to the subject an effective amount of the liquid composition. A method for alleviating pain in a subject in need thereof comprises administering by injection to the subject an effective amount of the liquid formulation.
