SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a mixture of breast milk oligosaccharides and compositions containing it. The composition for infants and young children contains an artificial mixture of human milk oligosaccharides, where this mixture consists of: from 55 wt.% to 75 wt.% 2'-O-fucosyllactose, from 2 wt.% to 10 wt.% lacto-N -neotetraose, from 10 wt.% to 20 wt.% lacto-N-tetraose, from 1 wt.% to 10 wt.% difucosyllactose or 3-fucosyllactose, from 1 wt.% to 10 wt.% 3'-O- sialyllactose and from 5 wt.% to 15 wt.% 6'-O-sialyllactose.

EFFECT: composition is used to prepare a nutritional composition for the prevention or treatment of influenza virus infections in an infant or young child.
