SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a nutritional composition for an infant or a young child. A method for the reduction in concentration of harmful proteolytic metabolites in the gastrointestinal tract in an infant or a young child in need of it includes the administration to an infant or a young child of a nutritional composition containing at least two breast milk oligosaccharides in the total amount from 0.1 to 10 wt.% of the nutritional composition and hydrolyzed protein. In this case, at least two breast milk oligosaccharides include at least 2’-fucosyllactose (2’FL) and lacto-N-neotetraose (LNnT). A method for the treatment or reduction in the risk of allergies due to the reduction in concentration of harmful proteolytic metabolites in an infant or a young child in need of it includes the administration to an infant or a young child of the above-mentioned nutritional composition. A method for the treatment of a health disorder selected from a group consisting of inflammatory bowel process, intestinal infections and their combinations, and/or activation of a beneficial effect for health due to the reduction in concentration of harmful proteolytic metabolites in the gastrointestinal tract in an infant or a young child in need of it includes the administration to an infant or a young child of the above-mentioned nutritional composition.
