EFFECT: method provides an opportunity to simulate the microbiota of the chicken caecum in artificial systems by developing a model of the artificial chicken intestine, including the composition of the artificial intestinal medium, where a “starter” is added containing microbial cultures that normally colonize the chicken digestive tract, and a nutrient medium for the growth of the microbiota, which makes it possible to take into account the influence of microbiota in the systems of the artificial digestive tract of chicken, to evaluate the effect of additives on the intestinal microbiota, and to screen the properties of probiotic strains.
