FIELD: measuring technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention provides for measuring rhythmic frequencies, power and duration of acoustic signal drops. The essence of the invention lies in the fact that low-frequency components are isolated from the Hilbert amplitude envelope by filtering in the form of acoustic objects (for example, sounds, words). These acoustic objects contain the most important and informative areas of unsteadiness in the form of an increase in the leading fronts of these objects or “attacks”, as well as declines of these objects. After the allocation of non-stationary sections in the form of drops, the instantaneous power of each of these sections is measured, as well as the average power of non-stationary sections is measured over a long time period. Also, in the selected areas of unsteadiness in the form of drops, the duration of the drop of each section of unsteadiness is measured, as well as the measurement of the average duration of drops is carried out over a long time period. In addition, in the selected areas of unsteadiness with increasing steepness, the frequency of occurrence of these areas (“attacks”) is measured for a given period of time (rhythmic frequencies), and the average value of these rhythmic frequencies is measured over a long time period.
EFFECT: ensuring the ability to perform a high-precision assessment of the quality of acoustic signals.
