FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radio engineering, in particular, to a method and apparatus for rotating the direction of emission of electromagnetic or mechanical energy-emitting waves. The technical result is achieved by performing electronic switching, alternately connecting, then disconnecting the output voltage of the signal emission source, amplified by power amplifiers or emitter repeaters, to a set of n narrow-beam symmetrical or asymmetrical emitters of an emitter system or antenna apparatus, wherein the set of n emitters with narrow-beam antenna pattern, energy-carrying wave emission systems are installed on the body of the antenna structure along a circumference, spiral, ellipse, sector, in a line, or along some other trajectory.
EFFECT: emission of waves with frequencies from units of hertz to tens of megahertz.
