FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: optical power of the intraocular lens is calculated during cataract extraction in a patient after implantation of the intrastromal MyoRing ring into a corneal graft. A keratotopogram is performed on the basis of which the optical power of the IOL is calculated by correcting the postoperative spherical refractive component towards myopia by 0.5 diopters for every 1.0 diopters of the average keratometry value less than 42 diopters according to the keratotopogram.
EFFECT: method allows to accurately calculate the planned postoperative refraction.
