FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, in particular to a method for the manufacture of microrelief on a working surface of an optically transparent base plate and connection of base and protective plates, providing mass production of biochips and their functioning together with transducers of a fluorescent type in a wide spectral range. The base plate is cast from MMA monomer previously irradiated with electrons without introducing any polymerization initiators and other additives to it, and base and protective plates are connected (glued) by means of the same MMA monomer irradiated with electrons. The proposed method eliminates active action on the material surface, which leads to change in surface properties, as well as eliminates the use of different chemical substances introduced to the polymer composition.
EFFECT: such an approach allows for the elimination of uncontrolled immobilization (fixation) of biological objects in biochip channels and additional background “luminescence” of biochip material in flows of probing irradiation, when using fluorescent detection methods.
