SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, in particular, to valve engineering, namely, to shutoff and control pipeline valves, and can be used in petroleum production and other industries. Shutoff and control apparatus comprises a flat sliding gate interacting on both sides with identical perforated seats placed in the supply and discharge branch pipes of the body, wherein the perforation in the is made in the lower part of the seats, wherein the amount, location and diameter of the holes depend on the required throughput characteristic, and the remaining upper part of the flow section of the seats is made through. The seats in the lower part thereof interact with the spacer installed in the end recess of the lower cover of the body, and sockets for locking screws are made on the outer diameters in the upper part of the seats.
EFFECT: increased throughput capacity and obtained linear or equal percentage throughput characteristic.
