FIELD: electrical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the electrical industry, in particular to devices for the direct conversion of chemical energy into electrical energy, and specifically to a lithium-ion battery. The active material of the anode (negative electrode) of a lithium-ion battery is a composite of germanium nanofibers deposited on a titanium substrate and red phosphorus deposited on these nanofibers by the evaporation-condensation method, and the phosphorus content in the composite is much higher than the stoichiometric content corresponding to germanium phosphides.
EFFECT: increasing the specific energy of a lithium-ion battery, as well as achieving the possibility of its long cycling.
