SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and can be used to diagnose central sensitization in patients with functional dyspipsia. The cognitive evoked potential P300 is determined before and after the drinking test on an empty stomach. During the test, non-carbonated drinking water at room temperature is used. The test is carried out until a feeling of full saturation. A decrease in the initial amplitude of the cognitive evoked potential P300 after the drinking test by 30% or more indicates the presence of central sensitization.

EFFECT: method allows to diagnose central sensitization safely, non-invasively and affordable.
