FIELD: robotics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to robotics, namely, designs of gears ensuring the spatial movement of an actuator. Steering gear actuator containing drums with a flexible tape wound thereon, engines with motion sensors, the rotation whereof moves the flexible tape between the drums, changing the external diameters thereof, rollers secured on guides and put in contact with the drums, and a steering plane. The guides are therein movably connected with the symmetrical racks connected rigidly with the steering plane and configured to move due to the change in the diameters of the drums and turning of the steering plane to the right or left.
EFFECT: reduction in the overall dimensions and possibility of rotational movement without introducing additional links and complicating the structure.
