FIELD: robotics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to robotics, namely to a structure of drives ensuring the movement of an actuator in space. A steering gear actuator contains a base, coils with a flexible tape wound on them, engines, the rotation of which ensures the movement of the flexible tape between coils with changing their outer diameters, rollers mounted on guides and located in contact with coils, and a steering plane. In this case, guides are movably connected to symmetrical racks that are rigidly connected to the steering plane and are located with guides and rollers on sides of coils with the possibility of movement due to changing diameters of coils and rotating the steering plane to right or left.
EFFECT: invention provides reduced overall dimensions and the possibility of rotational movement without introducing additional links and complicating the structure.
