SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the production of material containing alkaloids. A method for the production of material containing alkaloids, according to the first option, includes obtaining a mixture containing reducing sugar and particles of material containing alkaloids; extrusion of the mixture. In this case, extrusion includes feeding the mixture into an extruder; heating the mixture to the first temperature, which is less than or equal to 190°C; cooling the mixture from the first temperature to the second temperature, which is less than or equal to 70°C; unloading the extruded mixture from the extruder. Moreover, the staying time of the mixture in the extruder is from 10 seconds to 80 seconds. The method for the production of material containing alkaloids, according to the second option, includes obtaining a mixture of particles of material containing alkaloids and reducing sugar; extrusion of the mixture. In this case, extrusion includes feeding the mixture into the extruder; heating the mixture to the first temperature; cooling the mixture to the second temperature, which is lower than the first temperature; unloading the mixture from the extruder at the second temperature. Moreover, cooling is carried out in a time ranging from 2 seconds to 60 seconds, and the staying time of the mixture in the extruder is from 10 seconds to 80 seconds.

EFFECT: providing the possibility of control of characteristics of aerosol, obtained from a composition, such as its flavor and aromatic properties, by reducing the amount of ammonia or ammonium-containing compounds, while preserving other components of the composition, in particular alkaloids, such as nicotine.
