SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to an apparatus for performing surgical operations applying ultrasonic oscillations. Apparatus comprises a microprocessor control unit, an ultrasonic signal generator ensuring signal transmission through an acoustic node - an ultrasonic piezoelectric converter - to a removable ultrasonic surgical waveguide instrument, a signal amplifier, an element for initiating the start and the end of operation of the waveguide instrument, and a liquid medium supplying means with a drive. Apparatus also comprises an information display module, an interface module, a unit for generating supply voltages of a broadband sine wave signal amplifier, a memory apparatus switch, a unit of output connectors of the generator, an analogue-to-digital converter, a controlled attenuator, and a digital sine wave signal synthesiser.

EFFECT: expansion of the scope of functional capabilities of the apparatus due to the provided possibility of simultaneous connection of various acoustic nodes for performing several surgical operations, as well as provided possibility of increasing the accuracy of maintaining the equality of frequency and phase of the output signal of the generator to the frequency and phase of mechanical oscillations of mechanical resonance of the AUWI for the purpose of increasing the operating efficiency thereof.
