SUBSTANCE: machine and method for the manufacture of glass objects, in particular a glass on a base, provide preliminary mold (1) made with the possibility of reception of glass at a melting temperature, and pressing punch (2) made with the possibility of progressive movement along the first axis. Preliminary mold (1) contains whole-made upper part (3) expanding upwards, and lower part (13) not expanding upwards and made of several parts. Parts of lower part (13) are made with the possibility of progressive movement with one component along axes located in a plane perpendicular to the first axis. Upper part (3), along any axis perpendicular to the first axis, has a minimum size, which is more than the maximum size of lower part (13) along the specified axis perpendicular to the first axis, so that a molded object in lower part (13) can pass to upper part (3), making progressive movement along the first axis.
EFFECT: reduction in glass deformation.
