SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an aerosol-generating article containing an aerosol-forming substrate and a layered wrapper. The aerosol-forming substrate contains a sliced filler made of a plant-based material, wherein the sliced filler made of a plant-based material contains at least 25% of plant plates as calculated for the weight of the entire plant-based material and the aerosol-forming substrate additionally contains from approximately 6% to approximately 20% of the aerosol formation substance. The layered wrapper is at least partially wrapped around the aerosol-forming substrate. The layered wrapper comprises a heat-conducting layer and a heat-insulating layer. The heat-conducting layer and the heat-insulating layer overlap along the axial direction of the aerosol-generating article.

EFFECT: prevented staining caused by a high content of the aerosol formation substance, and uniform heating of the aerosol-forming substrate.
